August 30 Web Dota gathering & random shotLast Saturday, we had our very first Web Dota gathering at SS2. It was full of fun to share the game you created yourself with the people out there playing it.
For those who don't know what is Web Dota, I am here to introduce, it is a free web game based on popular Defense of the Ancient. Majority players come from Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Singapore. Each round usually lasts for maximum 10 days and will start all over again. For every round, the game registered approximately 1,000 of accounts with average of 700 to 800 active players. The site measured at monthly page view of 2.5 to 3 millions and exceeded bandwidth of 100GB (imagine it is just only text and some images).
Back to the gathering, uncle Ben (this is usually how forumers call him) actually leaves a deep impression to me. The way he talks made me think he always has his unique understanding while he, indeed is helping me a lot in improving the game. It is very cool to share every piece of the game, while I seldom talk to my friends about my own project which started since December 2005. It is also my first time meeting up people I knew through Internet (haha, only guys...).
I have decided to stop the development of the game, because I have lesser time to keep maintaining the game. It could be a long rest but who knows I will be back again in 2 or 3 months. For the coming gathering in Jakarta, I wish all my Indonesian players have a good time there.

 Toi Nho Ban...  August 09 8 8 08It is just an ordinary day for me, although it wasn't suppose to be like this, but things have changed. That day when I passed by the watches shop, I saw a lot of nice steel chrono watches. Compared to last time, I have no favor on this type of watches, mainly I think they are bulky and need more cares. I like those casual watches, swatch? hehe! or my friend likes to call them plastic watch. However, maybe my taste has changed a bit, feel like getting one, cause never own this type of chrono watch before :D Tik Tok...Tik Tok... one more week then will be mid of August, and next month, I believe I will be having a lot fun, right? right? haha! Know that recently many things have bothered you, but I know you are not 傻瓜 ... so whenever you feel like having someone to 呻苦, I will be beside you. Cheers~!
